Cesky Terrier

Temperament
Clever, Adventurous, Family-oriented
[3]Background and classification
Developed in Czechia from Sealyham and Scottish Terriers, with selection beginning in 1949 for a light drop-eared hunting terrier. FCI recognition followed in 1963.
[1]Appearance and coat
Short legs, long hair and small drop ears accompany a muscular rectangular body. Ear carriage and coat length distinguish it from prick-eared or short-coated terriers.
[1]Coat and comparisons
Grey-blue and light coffee-brown coats begin as black and chocolate-brown respectively. Lighter markings on specified areas are allowed, but the ground colour must remain predominant.
