Maine Coon Polydactyl

Temperament
Playful, Highly people-oriented, Not overly-dependent
[3]Background and classification
TICA distinguishes polydactyl Maine Coons, with their own breed name and championship class since 2015. Extra toes are considered together with Maine Coon body type.
[1]Appearance and coat
A large rectangular body has a broad chest and square muzzle. Shorter shoulder fur contrasts with shaggy belly hair, britches, a plumed tail and toe tufts.
[1]Coat and comparisons
Extra toes can occur on the front, back or all feet. TICA allows up to seven per foot without preferring more toes. Pointed, mink and sepia coats are excluded; toe number and coat are separate traits.
