Smooth Fox Terrier

Temperament
Independent, Friendly, Amusing
[3]Background and classification
An English fox-hunting terrier established as a breed in the nineteenth century. Its short smooth coat distinguishes it from the Wire Fox Terrier.
[1]Appearance and coat
Small but well-boned, with a short back, it combines strength and agility without heaviness. Smooth fur makes its leg and body outline easy to observe.
[1]Coat and comparisons
Predominantly white, with solid white, tan, black-and-tan or black markings. Brindle, red and liver markings are undesirable. Coat texture separates it from similarly coloured Wire Fox Terriers.
