Tennessee Rex

Background and classification
Developed from curly cats that appeared in Tennessee in 2004, its TICA standard combines rexing and satin sheen and distinguishes longhair TR from shorthair TRS.
[1]Appearance and coat
A medium athletic rectangular body has broad cheekbones and large almond-shaped eyes. Waves and curls may be stronger on the underside and legs than the back; curl is not uniform over the body.
[1]Coat and comparisons
Satin is a reflective, pearl-like coat sheen rather than a colour name. It can be compared separately from curl and length. The standard accepts all colours and patterns; longhairs have a plumed tail.
