Sealyham Terrier

Temperament
Alert, Outgoing, Sense of humor
[3]Background and classification
Developed in nineteenth-century Wales to work with waterside hunting dogs, it pursued otters, badgers and foxes and first appeared at dog shows in 1903.
[1]Appearance and coat
Small but strongly built, its outline is rectangular rather than square. Balanced construction supports free movement; proportions and facial furnishings distinguish it among white terriers.
[1]Coat and comparisons
White occurs alone or with lemon, brown, blue or badger markings on head and ears. Extensive black markings and heavy ticking are undesirable, making white coverage and marking location useful comparisons.
