[1]Background and classification
GCCF’s Asian group developed from the Burmilla, originating in a Burmese–Chinchilla Persian cross. Its five varieties are self, smoke, shaded, tabby and the semi-longhaired Tiffanie.
[1]Appearance and coat
A muscular medium-sized body has a broad chest, slender legs and a short broad wedge-shaped head. Tiffanie has a fine silky coat without a woolly undercoat and a plumed tail.
[1]Coat and comparisons
GCCF’s shaded Burmilla variety includes silver and non-silver cats. Tiffanie as a whole should not be equated with Burmilla Longhair; coat length and shading are separate features.
