American Bully

Temperament
Gentle, Friendly
[1]Developed from the American Pit Bull Terrier
The UKC standard describes the American Bully as a distinct breed that developed from the American Pit Bull Terrier. It says the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Bulldog, English Bulldog and Olde English Bulldogge influenced its development; UKC recognized the breed in 2013.
[1]Three size divisions and a thick-set build
The UKC standard sets out three size divisions: Pocket, Standard/Classic and XL. The breed is compact, strong and thick-set; the Classic has a lighter frame and less overall mass than the Standard. The standard cautions that size and mass must not take priority over quality.
[1]A short, smooth coat
The coat is glossy, smooth, close and moderately stiff to the touch. UKC permits a wide range of colours and patterns, while listing merle and albinism as disqualifications.
