Body and tail
CCA-AFC’s Experimental standard, corrected in 2020, describes a medium cat with a moderately elongated rectangular body, level back and rounded rump. Front and hind legs are equal in length, with medium bone proportionate to the body. The medium-length tail tapers and is well plumed.
[1]Head and expression
The head is a shortened, broad modified wedge with high, broad cheekbones and a short, broad muzzle. Medium ears are set apart; long ear furnishings are desirable. The eyes are modified oval, set far apart, and range from yellow to gold and amber.
[1]Coat and maturity
The semi-long coat becomes full with a silky, light texture at maturity. It develops first on the tail and later on the body; the hind legs form a petticoat, and the ruff frames the face. The adult coat develops by about 24 months, and males may have a heavier ruff and coat.
