Parson Russell Terrier

Temperament
Friendly, Clever, Athletic
[3]Background and human relationship
Rooted in terriers bred for hunting ability by the Reverend John Russell. Recognized in Britain in 1990 as Parson Jack Russell Terrier and by FCI in 2001 under its current name, it is distinct from the Jack Russell Terrier.
[1]Build and coat
Flexible construction supports earthwork, speed and endurance. A balanced agile build offers comparisons with other white terriers through leg-to-body proportions and movement.
[1]Colour and comparisons
The coat is white or predominantly white with tan, lemon, black or combined markings. Head and tail-root markings are preferred. White ground and the colour and placement of patches can be observed separately.
