Norfolk Terrier

Temperament
Alert, Fearless, Fun-loving
[3]Background and classification
Once grouped with prick-eared Norwich Terriers, the drop-eared Norfolk became a separate British breed in 1964. Ear carriage is the central naming distinction.
[1]Appearance and coat
A small low compact body has substantial bone. Drop ears distinguish its outline from the upright-eared Norwich despite their shared working background.
[1]Coat and comparisons
Red, wheaten, black-and-tan and grizzle are listed. White markings are undesirable but tolerated. Ear carriage helps distinguish Norfolk from Norwich when colours overlap.
