Aphrodite
Background and classification
GCCF lists the Cyprus-associated Aphrodite as unrecognised and refers readers to WCF’s standard. WCF distinguishes coat lengths; the broad listing remains separate from its coat-specific entries.
[1]Appearance and coat
A large strong but lean muscular body has a long back and neck, with hind legs slightly longer than front legs. The head forms a long triangle, with broad-based ears set in an open V.
[2]Coat and comparisons
WCF’s longhair has soft semi-long winter fur with undercoat, becoming much shorter without undercoat in summer. Pointed and mink colours are excluded. Seasonal change differs from the coat-length classification.
