Great Anglo-French Tricolour Hound

A large French scent hound
The FCI standard gives France as its origin and classifies it as a large scent hound. It describes a solid dog with a French predominance that still expresses Foxhound ancestry.
[1]A large hound with a deep chest
The standard height is 60–70 cm. The back is straight, the loin short and muscular, and the chest broad and deep to the elbows, giving strength without a heavy outline.
[1]A tricolor coat with black patches
The coat is short and somewhat strong. The tricolor pattern often has a black blanket or scattered black patches with bright tan; FCI assigns separate standards to the related white-and-black and white-and-orange hounds.
