[3]Background and classification
TICA’s Havana includes chocolate and lilac. The name changed from Havana Brown when lilac entered championship competition in 1983. Its colour scope differs from registries recognising only brown.
[1]Appearance and coat
A lithe muscular medium-sized body carries green oval eyes and upright forward-tilted ears. Defined profile changes, full whisker pads and a square chin form a blunt rounded muzzle.
[1]Coat and comparisons
A short glossy coat is rich reddish brown or pinkish-grey lilac, with matching whiskers. Faint ghost tabby markings may occur in kittens and disappear as they mature.
