[1]Retrospective account of cats seen in 1991
A retrospective account credited to Gene Ducote describes a Texas colony investigated in 1991 and breeder Von Pilcher’s visit to see an older male, Cajun. The copy displays a 2013 posting date; original publication is unknown and ancestry remains unproven.
[2]Reported appearance of Cajun
The account describes Cajun with ocelot- or margay-like rosettes, a notably pale chest and belly, and small rounded ears. These are reported observations of one individual, not a Bristol-wide appearance standard.
[2]Account of later breeding lines
Ducote reports substantial bone, small ears and rosette potential in Bristol-derived lines used in his Bengal breeding.
