[3]Background and human relationship
A Hungarian flock-herding dog whose background is associated with dogs brought to the Carpathian Basin during Magyar migrations. Ancient movement accounts are distinguished from modern breed development and individual pedigrees.
[1]Build and coat
A medium, nearly square muscular dog whose abundant curly or corded hair obscures body details. Sharing a corded appearance with the Komondor does not erase differences in breed and size.
[1]Colour and comparisons
Colours include black, black with slight rusty or grey shading, fawn with a black mask and pearl-white. Small white areas on chest and between toes have limits. Shadows within cords and actual ground colour are separate observations.
