White & Chestnut

White and chestnut combines white with a deep, rich reddish brown like the nut. The AKC glossary describes chestnut in these terms. The FCI French Pointing Dog, Gascogne type, standard lists chestnut brown and white, including a strongly speckled form. Larger colour areas and fine speckling can be distinguished.
