Red Speckled

The Australian Cattle Dog standard calls for even red speckling over the entire coat, including the undercoat, with no white or cream; darker red head markings are optional. Red body markings are permitted but undesirable. The Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog standard likewise describes even red speckling including the undercoat, allows darker red head markings and permits red body patches. The standards differ in how they treat body patches, so their individual allowances are stated separately.
