Mahogany Brindle

Mahogany brindle combines a mahogany reddish-brown ground with brindle striping. The AKC glossary describes mahogany as a moderately saturated dull reddish brown, and brindle as black hairs over lighter areas producing a tiger-striped appearance. These general meanings do not determine an individual breed’s conformation acceptance or the extent of striping.
