White & Buff

White & Buff describes a white coat with pale buff shading. The AKC Bichon Frise standard allows buff, cream or apricot shading around the ears or on the body. Colour covering more than 10 percent of a mature dog’s entire coat is a fault, while accepted shading colours are not faulted in puppies.
