Mantle Merle

The Great Dane standard describes merle as a pale- to dark-gray ground with irregular black patches and permits merle with a mantle pattern. A continuous merle blanket covers the body, with a merle head and white on the muzzle, chest, legs and tail tip. A small white break in the body blanket is acceptable.
