Silver, Black Overlay

Silver with black overlay describes black hairs superimposed on a silver-grey coat. The AKC glossary’s sable definition gives black tipping over grounds including silver as one example. The label does not determine the distribution or density of black, and remains separate from the Sable registration entry.
