The Borzoi parent-club guide shows a dog with large reddish-brown patches on white and a black facial mask. Parti markings may be uneven, including colour around one eye or ear or down one leg. The Rafeiro of Alentejo standard also permits coloured patches on white, without prescribing a combined black-mask arrangement.
