Pinto, Black & White Mask

This registered name includes pinto, coloured patches on a white ground, and a black-and-white facial mask. The Akita standard describes pinto as large, evenly placed patches covering the head and more than one-third of the body. These are component meanings; the comma alone is not treated as proof that the patterns must coexist or are alternatives.
