This millipede is recorded from Udzungwa Scarp Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a small dorsal spine and a very small ventral spine.
The 1984 collection records, including the male holotype, explicitly record montane rain forest at Udzungwa Scarp.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has broadly rounded to spatulate lobes with finely serrated tips.
In these males, the gonopod solenomere lacks a proximal spine.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
