Zenaida Doves use low-elevation fields, forests, dense vegetation, and some suburban or urban habitats.
The breast and belly are burgundy, the mantle is brown, and the head and neck have red-orange tones. White tips mark tail feathers and outer secondaries. Males are larger and brighter than females.
Both sexes mainly eat seeds, grasses, and fruits, usually alone or in pairs, but they can gather where food is abundant.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
