This millipede is recorded from New Dabaga/Ulangambi, West Kilombero Scarp and Kiranzi-Kitungulu Forest Reserves, and Kalimbazi Mountain, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a long dorsal spine and no ventral spines.
The collection records treated in the report include montane forest, fallow or previously disturbed land, cultivated land, scrub, thicket or bush, plantations and open woodland.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, spaced, spatulate limbus lobes give the ring margins a string-of-beads appearance.
In these males, the gonopod telomere has a large, smooth, pointed, slightly curved distal process with an inflated appearance.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
