This pale-yellow sponge is known from North Sulawesi, where it was observed covered by another sponge.
The examined living specimens were pale lemon-yellow.
In the North Sulawesi survey it occurred together with another sponge, generally in dim light at depths down to 20 m.
Examined specimens formed rounded masses.
Its water outlets projected above the other sponge covering its surface.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
