A tiny antelope of East and southwestern Africa, living among shrubs and savannah vegetation.
Only males have short horns. Glands below the eyes produce scent.
It eats leaves, shoots, and fruit, getting water from plants. When startled, it darts in a zigzag and gives an alarm call.
