Falkenstein's Greenbul is a bulbul ranging from southern Cameroon to western Angola. In Angola, the cited guide reports it along northern and central escarpments. That guide uses the English name Yellow-necked Greenbul.
Its upperparts are olive, the underparts grayish white, and the throat yellow; the eye is red. The guide reports the sexes alike.
It is usually solitary in forest, secondary forest, and forest edges, but may gather around food. Its diet includes berries, fruit, caterpillars, and termite alates. The guide describes a shallow cup nest in a bush fork, with no breeding records from Angola.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
