The Blue-faced Parrot-Finch is a small finch with a blue face. The detailed feeding and habitat observations here come from a study of the northern Australian subspecies macgillivrayi.
The English common name identifies its blue face; it is a small parrot-finch.
The subspecies studied in north Queensland used rainforest edges and grassland with woody plants, and foraged on seeds of grasses.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
