This small mouse has golden upper fur, a white underside and feet, and a tail it can use while climbing.
Soft golden fur covers the upper body; the feet and underside are white, and the tail is cream-colored. The prehensile tail helps it climb and hang from branches.
It is mainly nocturnal and arboreal, though it also lives on the ground. It eats mostly seeds and uses its prehensile tail when climbing.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
