This small bat occurs in Indonesia and Malaysia. Records from Lombok describe specimens found in primary forest, with gray-brown dorsal fur tipped with ochre.
Two Lombok specimens had gray-brown dorsal fur tipped with ochre and paler underparts. Their forearms measured 38.1–38.4 mm and their masses were 5.8–6.1 g.
The two specimens were collected along a narrow path in dense, tall primary evergreen forest on Lombok. One female had a single fetus in September; another was not pregnant or lactating when collected in May.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
