The kultarr is a nocturnal marsupial of Australia's arid and semi-arid regions. It bounds on long hind feet and feeds mainly on insects and spiders.
Its coat ranges from gray to sandy brown, and long dark hairs form brush-like fringes along the sides of its tail. It has large eyes and ears and elongated hind feet.
Kultarrs are solitary and nocturnal. They move with a bounding gait and eat mostly spiders, cockroaches, crickets, and other arthropods.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
