This millipede is recorded from Kigogo Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a long dorsal spine and a small but well-developed triangular ventral spine.
The examined male material comes from two 1984 collections in montane rain forest at Kigogo.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has very long, slender triangular lobes about 2.5 times as long as wide.
In these males, the gonopod coxa bears a slender, curved, pointed lateral process.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
