Pallas's tube-nosed fruit bat is widespread in Indonesia, less common in Papua New Guinea, and known in Australia only from Moa Island. It roosts in rainforest and mangrove trees.
The Australian Museum lists it as the Torresian Tube-nosed Bat, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service calls it Pallas's Tube-nosed Fruit Bat. The species pages give no detailed description of nose shape.
It roosts in rainforest and mangrove trees. Its diet in Australia is unknown; the museum says fruit and insects are possibilities based on feeding elsewhere.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
