The Yellow-billed Kite ranges across sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar, and the Comoros, extending to Egypt and southwestern Arabia.
Adults have a yellow bill and dark iris, and the head and nape match the upper body. This combination distinguishes it from the Black Kite.
It eats a wide range of food, from carrion to live birds, fish, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. It uses many habitats and may roost communally.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
