This macaque lives in the mountains of Morocco and Algeria and has a very short tail that is barely visible.
Its tail is extremely short and is hardly visible outside the body.
It lives in large groups, where adults may help care for young that are not their own. It eats seeds, leaves, fruit, snails, worms and other foods.
