Known from northern Montenegro, adults of this amphipod have a short third tail appendage.
The third uropod of adults is short and barely reaches beyond the tip of the first uropod.
On 14 August 1968, many specimens were collected from a spring near the road to Andrijevica.
The eyes of adult males are nearly round to oval.
Among adults, females have more setae on the antennae and the third and fourth legs than males.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
