The Fingui white-toothed shrew is known from Príncipe Island, São Tomé and Príncipe. Specimens were collected near forest-lined roads, settlements, and streams.
The back is dark brown and the underside brown; the ears are naked and dark gray, and the tail is bristly.
Records include sites beside forest-lined roads, settlements, and streams; local reports also mention old banana plantings, houses, and rocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
