A female found in Rondônia, Brazil, in 2011 was discovered dead on the ground during a fauna-rescue operation after vegetation had been removed. The site was terra firme and its vegetation was classified as southern Amazon ombrophilous forest. This is a record from one locality, not a study of habitat preference.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
