Müller's three-striped dasyure is a dasyurid marsupial from New Guinea's forests. Specimens assigned to the species vary in color, from nearly black to reddish brown.
The 2005 specimen revision assigned both nearly black animals and reddish-brown individuals with a dark back stripe to this species. Its tail tapers and has longer hairs along the upper side.
An early local account says it lives on the forest floor and forages mainly at night.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
