The male description gives an ochre-yellow carapace with a wide dark-brown band extending across the rear of the eye area and small marks below each eye triad. The grey-ochre abdomen has black markings. They were found in domed sheet webs close to the ground, usually in protected dark spaces under large rocks. Males and females were sometimes in the same web. When disturbed, they ran to the rock, vibrated briefly, and then stayed still pressed against its surface. Known only from the type locality on Luzon Island: Mount Banahaw in Laguna Province, Philippines.
