Adult males have forearms longer than their hands. Adult males have thighs longer than their shanks. Adult males lack foot webbing. It was found in a marshy area covered with thick ground vegetation close to a rivulet in primary forest. Males called at 12:00–14:00 during the day and around 18:00 in the evening. It is recorded from Kakkachi, Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu, India.
