Adult males have a snout rounded in dorsal view and truncate in lateral view. Adult males have enlarged, rounded finger discs. Adult males have broadly webbed toes. It is an arboreal, nocturnal frog found in humid rainforest along fast-flowing streams. Specimen-based records confirm it from An’Ala, Vohidrazana and Vohimana in the wider Andasibe area, Madagascar.
