A small nuthatch marked by a white eyebrow and chestnut flanks, known from highlands around Mount Victoria in Myanmar.
A long white eyebrow runs above a thin black eye stripe, contrasting with blue-grey upperparts, a white face and belly, and chestnut flanks.
It gleans small insects from mosses and lichens, often on oak branches. Usually seen alone, it nests in tree cavities; breeding is thought to occur around March and April.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
