The Golden-mantled Racket-tail is a parrot of eastern Indonesia's forests that visits fruiting trees to feed.
As its name suggests, the central tail feathers are elongated and end in racket-shaped tips. The nominate male has a conspicuous golden mantle.
It is active by day and gathers at fruiting trees to feed on fruit.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
