A gray-plumaged thrush of Central America. It keeps quietly to the understory of cloud forest and oak-pine woodland.
Adults are slate-gray above, paler on the forehead, with olive tones on the back and rump. The underparts are dull gray, paler on the throat and belly, and pale lines border the eyes.
It uses cloud forest, humid evergreen forest, oak-pine woodland, and mountain scrub. It is shy and stays in dense understory or shaded ravines, usually searching for food low in the vegetation.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
