This millipede is recorded from Mwanihana Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a very long, slender, slightly curved spine and a small triangular ventral spine.
The collection records treated in the report include males taken from litter in montane rain forest at Mwanihana.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has broadly rounded lobes about as wide as long, with deep grooves on their outer surfaces.
In these males, the gonopod component called the solenomere has no spines or other secondary branches.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
