Crosse’s Shrew is recorded from Guinea and Sierra Leone east to western Cameroon. It searches beneath forest-floor leaf litter and decaying wood for small invertebrates.
Its back ranges from slaty gray to chocolate brown, while the underside is lighter gray; it has a white chin and a relatively long tail.
It forages for invertebrates beneath leaf litter, in soil cracks, and under rotten wood, and may climb fallen trunks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
