The male is darker than its closest known relatives and has a long cylindrical genital bulb and a ventral process on the femur. Females are described with two epigynal forms: a small triangular sclerotized scape and a much wider sclerotized area. Type material was collected near the ground in forest at about 600–900 m on the west slope of Mt. Isarog, Luzon, Philippines. Spiders were found close to the ground and apparently more deeply hidden under rocks and logs than a sympatric species.
